R.Black

R.Black is a new, young and exciting Jamaican born artist/producer from Houston, Texas. Influenced by notable greats, ranging from Drake, Eminem, Lady Gaga and Kanye West, to Tupac and Biggie, R.Black has created his own unique sound. R.Black describes it as “A strange hybrid of all the music that I really like, centered around Pop and Hip-Hop/Rap”. R.Black has been making music since January 2018 and had this to say when asked what inspired him to start, “I always had melodies and songs forming in my head but growing up in Jamaica, I lacked the resources and encouragement to start. It was only when a friend asked me to record a hook at his home studio here in Houston that I realized, I could start getting these ideas out of my head and on a record.” With his latest single, ‘Hard 4 Me’ now gathering momentum, R.Black plans on releasing as many singles as possible before the end of the year to showcase his wide range of talents. He mentions that “I make a lot of stuff that’s gonna appeal to different sets of people, but I enjoy exploring different sides of my character to entertain an audience and I know that’s gonna show in the music.”
